Service Opportunities

As a member of a Rotary club, you’ll have opportunities to provide humanitarian service on both a local and international level. Projects address important issues such as health care, hunger, poverty, illiteracy and the environment. Giving back to the community provides an enormous amount of satisfaction for club members.

Networking

One of Rotary’s original purposes was to enlarge members’ circle of business, community and professional acquaintances. With business people such as owners, executives, managers, political leaders and other professionals attending club meetings, they are a great opportunity to forge business relationships.

International Awareness

With more than 34,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas, Rotarians foster understanding between cultures and participate in international service projects and exchange programs. Part of Rotary’s mission is to build goodwill and peace throughout the world.

Friendship

Rotary clubs are a place to enjoy fellowship. Club members experience camaraderie and develop enduring friendships while attending club meetings and working on meaningful projects with one another.

Leadership Development

As a Rotarian, you have the opportunity to enhance your skills in team building, fundraising, public speaking, planning, organization and communication, among others. As a Rotary leader, you’ll gain valuable experience in motivating, inspiring and guiding others. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor and be mentored by others.
